The Microwave Materials and their Applications (MMA) conference is a well-established biennial international conference series founded in 2000. It brings together worldwide academic researchers and industrial specialists active in microwave-related functional materials, characterization, devices and engineering applications. The conference aims to build a bridge between fundamental academic research and industrial requirements, while providing excellent communication opportunities for young scholars, PhD students and industrial partners.

Following the successful 13th MMA conference hosted in Saint-Brieuc, France (2025), the 14th edition will be held for the first time in Guilin, China, on 21–24 September 2027 at the Grand Waterfall Hotel, Guilin, China, organized by the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Guilin University of Technology. Guilin, world-famous for its spectacular karst mountain-and-river landscape, will provide a pleasant and inspiring environment for scientific exchanges. We warmly welcome scientists, engineers, graduate students and industry experts from all continents to join MMA-2027, share cutting-edge research results and explore potential international collaboration.
